E tante persone
vedendolo, riflettendo e ascoltandolo si convertono a Dio.
A preacher in the Church commenting the Gospel said that John the Baptist didn’t need many words to bring people to the Kingdom of God,
but
having left all things of the world and dressing
with a tunic made from coarse camel hair
and going barefoot,
already testified by himself
how to convert
in order to enter the Kingdom of
God. This was also the testimony
of St. Francis eight hundred
years ago.
Today there is Massimo
Coppo in Assisi, in whose authenticity some do not believe, but we know, and we say that he has given up
everything,
no one pays him and
he stays out day
and night dressed in a rough
sack and barefoot, in the heat and the cold even below zero, since more than five years,
when he had this vocation from the Lord Jesus. And many people seeing, reflecting and listening to him turn
to God.
