Jean Valjean da un passato discutibile, diventa un uomo nuovo, votato al bene degli altri, e arricchitosi aprendo una fabbrica, dà lavoro a tante persone; diviene anche molto influente e rispettato da essere eletto sindaco; ma per il suo passato viene braccato dall'integerrimo ispettore di polizia Javert. Però Javert, sconfitto dalle qualità e dalla fortuna di Jean Valjean decide infine di suicidarsi, lasciando finalmente Jean Valjean libero. Ognuno potrebbe avere il suo Javert; per questo la gente opta per Jean Valjean.
Jean Valjean from a
questionable past, becomes a new man, voted to the good of the
other. He opens a factory, getting rich and providing job to many
people. Becomes so influential and respected as to be elected mayor,
but
for his past is hunted by the upright police inspector Javert.
However Javert, defeated by the qualities and the
luck of Jean Valjean, finally decides to commit
suicide, leaving at last Jean Valjean free.
Each one could have his own Javert; so people opt for Jean Valjean.
