The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity (18-25 January), expression of ecumenical dialogue between the various Christian denominations, has been joined by two major events on the dialogue with the other non-Christian religions: the visit of Pope Francis the Synagogue of Rome and the official invitation from an Islamic  delegation  to the Pope for his visit to the Mosque of Rome. "Dialogue" is the leitmotif of the Catholic Church in his relations with other Christian Churches, other religions and with non-believers. But the “dialogue” must not weaken or even supplant the "kerygma", the joyful and fearless proclamation that Jesus is "God from God", the only Lord and Saviour of the world.
This courageous announcement yet raises many oppositions and throughout the centuries led to the martyrdom of an endless line of faithful witnesses of the Gospel, beginning with the Apostles themselves. Just as Jesus predicted: "Do you think I have come to bring peace to the earth? No, I tell you, but rather a sword ... You will be hated by all nations because of my name ... An hour is coming when those who kill you will think that by doing so they are offering worship to God! "
(St. Luke 12: 51-53; St. Matthew 24: 9; St. John 16: 2).

And in a prophecy of the "Prophet of Assisi", Marcello Ezekiel Ciai - whose prophecies have been and are all dramatically coming true in detail - the prophetic Spirit so warned the Church: "You seek for glory in political and religious alliances; you talk about ecumenism; but can one put together a rotten pomegranate with unripe lemons to make a sweet? You have to seek only my alliance that you have violated, which is the only way for true peace" ("The Cloak", 1981).
