Coraggio!

Courage!

It takes courage today, for a true Christian, to profess frankly and without yielding the Word of God that we read in the Holy Bible, which has been witnessed, even through their blood, by so many saints, prophets and martyrs of the Church of all times.

Courage, to read in simplicity the prophetic discourse of Jesus in the Gospels and also the Book of Revelation, to realize that we are in the end times and that, beyond and above the current war scenario, another war is going on, but... between heaven and earth! Right, because God is showing now more than ever his judgments on an earth full of evil, arrogance and deceit, increasingly rebellious to Him and His Christ "The battle is joined" one reads in the first prophecy of the Prophet of Assisi (The  Mantle, 1995) "tremendous will be the great final explosion in all my rage!"

But in our Church today, it takes courage to talk about anger and wrath of God, just as the Bible speaks about them. "For the wrath of God", we read for example in the New Testament, "
is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and wickedness of those who by their wickedness suppress the truth”  Yes, because in the Holy Scripture one also reads: “Mercy and anger belong to the Lord. Great as is his mercy, so also is his chastisement”.

And there is courage in saying that there is still some true prophet – such as the prophet of Assisi – whose prophecies should be welcomed instead of being despised...

And you need courage to say openly that the Koran denies the divinity of Jesus and the crucifixion itself, and therefore the foundations of the Christian faith; and to say that there many passages incite to holy war... And if it is true that not all Muslims are extremists or terrorists, it remains true that the Koran is sacred and true for all of them...
Courage, though! The word of God says: "Do not throw away your frankness, which brings a great reward!"

The political elections in Turkey were won with absolute majority by the pro-Islamic party of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, nicknamed "Sultan". In the tradition followed by the ancient sultans before ascending to the throne, also Erdogan went to the Eyüp Sultan Mosque, in Istanbul, to thank his God -Allah- for this victory, which is also victory and strengthening of Islam in the Middle East and in the Mediterranean area. Erdogan said he had prayed God for this victory. But may God want the success of a religion, such as Islam, wich in the Qur'an explicitly denies the two foundations of the Christian faith - Jesus the Son of God and his death on the cross - and wich over the centuries has fueled death and destruction against Christians? The answer given by God's Word, the Bible, is surprising and disturbing at the same time: Yes, God - the real one, whose name is "Father, Son and Holy Spirit" – can lead to victory the enemies who fight his Church, to punish and purify her from its infidelity. This is what happened for example with the conquest and destruction of Jerusalem by the Babylonians, prophesied by Jeremiah and other prophets as a punishment inflicted by God, who used a heathen nation to punish his people who had become unfaithful and idolatrous. But then the judgement, and much heavier, would fall on Babylon... It 's a difficult argument, but we are in this scenario in regard to Islam. "Your allies are arming themselves" one could read since 1995 in a prophecy of the Prophet of Assisi on the Vatican, "cruel warriors lie in wait at your door. Every protection is demolished, oh house of Peter... Too great is my mourning and my desolation, for those days of terror wanted by God, the Lord of hosts” What to do? Let’s recognize that we have moved away from our God and His Word, and let’s pray "without ceasing", as Jesus calls us to do for our troubled times, pray from all our hearts and wherever we can do it better.

"It's necessary that each one of us does not let himself be won by fear," said the Police Chief Alessandro Pansa at Assisi, in the new seat of the police station, in the presence of the executive Francesca Di Luca and of Perugia’s head of Police. Fear: a sad reality of our times. "Many are confused and scared like sheep at night who hear the wolf in their midst" one reads in the first prophecy of the "Prophet of Assisi" ("The Cloak, 1981). And "people will faint from fear..." Jesus warns in the Gospel speaking of the last times (St. Luke 21:26). Overcoming fear: but how? Transforming it into prayer, a prayer trusting in God of which the current Jubilee exalts the great mercy. "God loves us" recalled the Bishop of Assisi Domenico Sorrentino – in the photo while passing through the Holy Door of the Basilica of St. Francis - "and is anxious to cheer us up, insofar as we recognize God's love, confess sincerely our sin and become aware of our responsibilities". The Bishop also emphasized the exceptional combination of the extraordinary Jubilee proclaimed by Pope Francis with the eighth centenary of the "Pardon of Assisi", the famous plenary indulgence that is renewed every year, obtained by San Francis.

In the midst of the two books coming out on the crooks and scandals of the Catholic Church, that are overwhelming the Vatican there is a third book -"The Prophet of Assisi" -,published in english too, where also the prophecies on Rome and the Vatican are gathered, received by Marcello Ezekiel Ciai, in penance and in disease, in 1981 and 1995, which if they had been listened to, one could have provided and avoided the scandals of today and even prepare oneself appropriately to acts of terror as those tragically happened in France.

In Assisi, on the Town Square, a man dressed in sackcloth and barefoot, in prayer and peneance proclaims some passages of them, such as this one readable already since 1981 in the first prophecy, "The Mantle", we read this vibrant rebuke by Jesus to his Church: "How beautiful you were, oh my bride! Mother of my children, delight of my eyes, splendor for all the people. Now you're noyhing other than a rotten fruit! You seek for glory in political and religious alliances ..." But in the last words of this prophecy, God leaves open for his Church a way back: "You must seek only my alliance that you have violated, which is the only way for true peace".

Seeing that the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy is approaching, let’s address to heaven the prayer and confession of the prophet Daniel:
"We have sinned, we have acted wickedly. Lord, in your mercy, torn away your anger and your wrath... Lord, hear; Lord, forgive; Lord, look and act without delay, for the sake of yourself , my God".
