Al-Zawahiri ha chiamato Papa Benedetto un "ciarlatano" e Gesù un grande profeta.
"Questo ciarlatano ha accusato l' Islam di essere incompatibile con la razionalità, mentre sta dimenticando che la sua propria Cristianità è inaccettabile a una mente ragionevole".

Al-Zawahiri called Pope Benedict a "charlatan" and Jesus a great prophet.
"This charlatan accused Islam of being incompatible with rationality while forgetting that his own Christianity is unacceptable to a sensible mind".

 

 


Paesi musulmani nel mondo protestano contro le parole pronunciate dal Papa qualche giorno fa. Citando un imperatore bizantino del 14° secolo sul profeta Maometto, il Papa diceva : " Ha detto,
lo cito, - Mostrami pure ciò che Maometto ha portato di nuovo e vi troverai soltanto delle cose cattive e disumane, come il suo ordine di diffondere con la spada la fede che predicava - ".

Muslim nations in the world protest against the words pronounced by the Pope some days ago.
Quoting a 14th-century Byzantine emperor on Prophet Mohammed, the Pope said: "He said, I quote, 'Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached."

 


 

Papa Benedetto XVI in Germania durante la messa ha respinto l'uso del nome di Dio per giustificare l'odio e fanatismo. Aveva detto: «L'Occidente dissacrante spaventa l'Islam» e "Dove Dio è Grande, è grande anche l'uomo".

Pope Benedict XVI in Germany during the mass rejected the use of God's name to justify hatred and fanaticism. He had declared : "The blasphemous Occident scares the Islam" and "Where God is Great, also man is great."
