Il Presidente George Bush durante una conferenza stampa nella Camera Est della Casa Bianca ha detto che
ha pregato ogni giorno per la guida sull' Iraq. Tutto il mondo insiste per la pace, ma lui, contrariamente a tutti anche all' ONU, decide per la guerra, soprattutto perchè dice che deve difendere il suo popolo.
 

Il Presidente George W. Bush si rivolge alla nazione dalla Casa Bianca,
il 17 Marzo 2003 (18 Marzo 2003 ore 2.00 in Italia). Bush dice che il Presidente Iracheno Saddam Hussein
e i suoi figli devono lasciare l'Iraq entro 48 ore o affrontare la guerra.
