WASHINGTON - Sono almeno 29 le richieste arrivate all' Ufficio Brevetti americano per l'utilizzo del termine   "Shock and Awe" (Colpisci e terrorizza), coniato dal presidente Bush per indicare le operazioni militari in Iraq.
Le richieste di brevetto riguardano prodotti decisamente diversi tra loro: una linea di profilattici, mazze da golf, una salsa piccante, un liquore, alcuni videogames, fuochi artificiali ed un giocattolo per neonati. (Agr)

WASHINGTON - At least 29 are the applications presented at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for the use of the jargon "Shock and awe", coined by President Bush to indicate the military operations in Iraq.
The applications on patents concern products quite different one from the other: a range of condoms, golf-sticks, a hot sauce, a liqueur, some videogames, fireworks and an infant action crib toy.
