Il direttore della Caritas di Trapani, Don Sergio Librizzi, arrestato per concussione e violenza sessuale pluriaggravata. “L’Angelo della Caritas” come fu’ definito dal periodico Monitor (vedi foto), è stato fermato mentre si accingeva a dire Messa, con l’accusa di aver ripetutamente abusato di extracomunitari che gli richiedevano il riconoscimento e l’asilo come rifugiati. Un altro gravissimo scandalo che deturpa e discredita la Chiesa proprio mentre sta recuperando prestigio e credibilità con Papa Francesco. Una Chiesa spiritualmente in “rovina” come ai tempi di San Francesco, che però la riparò provocando e scandalizzando i falsi e corrotti religiosi fino a spogliarsi nudo in piazza o predicare nelle chiese in mutande. “Quanto eri bella oh sposa mia…” si legge in una profezia di Marcello Ciai (Il Mantello), rivolta a Roma e alla Chiesa “...ora non sei che un frutto marcio! ”

E’ Andrea Romizi il nuovo Sindaco di Perugia. Mi trovavo casualmente a passare davanti al Palazzo dei Priori, sede del Comune di Perugia, proprio in concomitanza con il suo insediamento,  così ho avuto l’occasione di parlarci brevemente, e di fargli omaggio del libro che ho scritto. Ma quali consigli dare a un neo-eletto giovane sindaco, indipendentemente dalla sua appartenenza politica? San Francesco nella sua Lettera ai Governanti della terra, con estremo rispetto e altrettanta franchezza li esortava ad essere fedeli al Vangelo e a temere Dio, al quale un giorno dovranno rendere conto del loro operato. E nella Bibbia si legge che il giovane Salomone, chiamato a succedere al re Davide, suo padre, sul trono d’Israele, rivolse un’umile e fervente preghiera a Dio perché gli concedesse sapienza nel governare: una preghiera che piacque così tanto al Signore, che l’esaudì concedendo a Israele una prosperità mai vista. Un ottimo esempio da seguire per questo giovane Primo Cittadino di Perugia, città candidata insieme ad Assisi al prestigioso titolo di Capitale Europea della Cultura 2019. Massimo Coppo

I was casually passing in front of the Palace of Priors, seat of the town hall of Perugia, just in concomitance with his installation, and so I had the opportunity to speak briefly to him, and to present him the book that I wrote. But what advice would you give to a young newly-elected mayor, regardless of his political affiliation? St. Francis in his Letter to the Rulers of the earth, with the utmost respect and equal frankness urged them to be faithful to the Gospel and to fear God, to whom one day they will have to give account of their work. And in the Bible we read that the young Solomon, called to succeed to his father the king David on the throne of Israel, raised a humble and heartfelt prayer to God to obtain from him wisdom in governing: a prayer that the Lord liked so much, that he fulfilled granting to Israel a prosperity never seen before. An excellent example to be followed by this young First Citizen of Perugia, a city that, along with Assisi, is competing for the prestigious title of European Capital of Culture 2019. Massimo Coppo

Timor di Dio. All'udienza generale a Piazza San Pietro, il Papa ha lanciato severe parole di condanna verso i corrotti e gli sfruttatori di questo mondo, "che il timore di Dio faccia loro comprendere" - ha detto - "che un giorno tutto finisce e che dovranno rendere conto a Dio". Ancor più esplicitamente ad Assisi Massimo Coppo in mutande, tuonando alla vigilia di Pentecoste contro la corruzione dilagante nel nostro paese, in piedi sul parapetto del balcone della Basilica Superiore di San Francesco, ha parlato dell'Inferno che attende corruttori e corrotti, citando la lettera di San Francesco indirizzata ai Governanti della terra, in cui il Santo li ammoniva che "quanto più sapienti e potenti saranno stati in questo mondo, tanto maggiori tormenti patiranno nell'Inferno".

Un impressionante numero di giovani che nemmeno sperano più di trovare lavoro, adulti che una volta licenziati non sanno cosa fare, famiglie intere sempre più povere: queste le drammatiche conseguenze di un crollo dell’economia mondiale tutt’altro che superato. “L’economia crollerà e gli operai resteranno sgomenti…” si legge in una delle profezie di Marcello Ezechiele Ciai (Profetizza!, 1995) “la città si svuoterà…”. Il mondo paga le conseguenze di un’economia “industriale” disancorata dalla terra, e ancor più da chi l'ha creata, mentre il bellissimo, primordiale lavoro affidato da Dio all’uomo era proprio quello di coltivare la terra e custodirla (Genesi 2:15). Molti vedono nel ritorno alla terra un possibile argine a tanta crescente povertà e miseria. Ma questo non basta, se non si torna a quel Dio e Padre che proprio per noi ha creato la terra con tutte le sue meraviglie: “diversi fructi, con coloriti flori et herba” come scrisse San Francesco nel suo Cantico delle Creature. “Io faccio piovere secondo le stagioni, io ho creato la semina e la vendemmia” è pure scritto in un’altra delle profezie di Marcello “ma i vostri iniqui pensieri hanno sconvolto tutte le cose belle da me per voi create...” (Alla Città gaudente, 1995).

An impressive number of young people who don't even hope anymore of finding a job, adults who once dismissed don't know what to do, whole families increasingly poor: these are the tragic consequences of a collapse of the world economy far away from being overcome. "The economy will collapse and the workers will be left dismayed..." one reads on one of the prophecies of Marcello Ezekiel Ciai (Profesy!, 1995) "the city will be emptied...". The world is paying the consequences of an "industrial" economy undocked from the earth, and even more from the one who has created it, while the beautiful, primordial work entrusted by God to man was precisely to cultivate the land and keeping it (Genesis 2:15). Many see in the return to the earth a possible defence from such growing poverty and misery. But this is not enough, if you don't return to that God and Father who just for us created the earth with all its wonders: "various fruits with colored flowers and herbs" as St. Francis wrote in his Canticle of the Creatures. "I make it rain according to the seasons, I have created the sowing and the grape harvest..." is also written in another one of the prophecies of Marcello "but your wicked thoughts have ruined all the beautiful things created by me, for you..." (The Pleasure seeking City, 1995).

Elezioni europee, la Coldiretti denuncia normative alimentari della UE che mortificano la qualità e genuinità dei nostri prodotti agro-alimentari, consentendo ad altri paesi dell'unione di mettere sul mercato prodotti "anomali", come vini fatti senza uve o formaggi senza latte. Intanto la stampa tedesca danneggia l'immagine del nostro paese e del Vaticano, diffondendo notizie di responsabilità penali relative al Cardinale Bertone, ufficialmente smentite dal Vaticano: mentre è in corso l'assemblea della Conferenza Episcopale Italiana. Segnali non confortanti di un Europa la cui fragile unità si basa su un comune mercato e una comune moneta, più che su quei valori cristiani che hanno permeato per secoli  la storia del continente europeo.

All’udienza generale del mercoledì a Piazza San Pietro, Papa Francesco ha parlato dell’incontro al Santo Sepolcro con "Sua Santità" Bartolomeo I, patriarca di Costantinopoli  (a cui ha baciato la mano, così come ha fatto con dei sopravvissuti all'Olocausto) come momento culminante della sua visita in terra Santa; e ha chiesto perdono per quanto da parte cattolica abbia alimentato la divisione con la Chiesa Ortodossa. Gesti e parole di vera, sentita umiltá, che potranno aiutare più di ogni altra cosa il non facile cammino verso l'unitá delle Chiese Cristiane.
Per quanto riguarda l’invito fatto ai Presidenti d’Israele e della Palestina – Shimon Peres e Abu Mazen - a incontrarsi al Vaticano a pregare per la pace, il Papa ha esortato con insistenza i fedeli a pregare tanto per la pace in Terra Santa. Consapevoli che solo Gesù Cristo può dare la vera pace - "vi do la mia pace" disse ai suoi discepoli nell'Ultima Cena  "non come la dà il mondo, io la do a voi"- preghiamo per la conversione di Israele e dello Stato Palestinese, a Gesù, "Principe della Pace"! Perché, come lo Spirito si esprime in una delle profezie di Marcello Ezechiele Ciai, profeta di Assisi  "Città della Pace": Si parla di pace, si cerca la pace, ma gli uomini non sanno più neppure cosa sia "pace". La pace solo io posso darla...

As for the invitation to the presidents of Israel and Palestine - Shimon Peres and Abu Mazen - to meet at the Vatican to pray for peace, the Pope urged insistently the faithful to pray so much for peace in the Holy Land. Recognizing that only Jesus Christ can give true peace - "my peace I give to you ," he said to his disciples in the Last Supper - "I do not give to you as the world gives" - let's pray for the conversion of Israel and the Palestinian State, to Jesus, the "Prince of Peace" ! Because, as the Spirit expressed itself  in one of the prophecies of  Marcello Ezekiel Ciai, prophet of Assisi, "City of Peace", One speaks of peace, one seeks peace, but men do not even know anymore what is “peace”. Peace only I can give it...

Il libro uscito in questi giorni di Tim Geithner, ex segretario americano al tesoro,  svela un "complotto" - come lo definisce l'autore stesso - da parte di Funzionari dell'Unione Europea ai danni di Silvio Berlusconi, allora Presidente del Consiglio, allo scopo di far cadere il suo governo con il coinvolgimento della amministrazione americana.  Una cosa disdicevole per la dignità e il prestigio del nostro paese, già allora provato dalla crisi economica, con la chiusura di migliaia di aziende e un impressionante livello di disoccupazione. E' da apprezzare la lealtà e correttezza del Senatore Geithner e dello stesso Obama nel non assecondare queste trame, che purtroppo svelano sintomi di divisione tra i paesi della U.E. che invece dovrebbero essere uniti e solidali per il bene soprannazionale, così come lo sono gli Stati Uniti d'America. "Ogni regno discorde cade in rovina" ammonisce la Sapienza del Vangelo (San Matteo 12:25)

A misbecoming matter for the dignity and prestige of our country, which at that time was already tried by the economic crisis, with the closure of thousands of  businesses and an impressive level of unemployment. One  appreciates the honesty and fairness of Senator Geithner and the same Obama not to satisfy these plots, which unfortunately reveal signs of division among EU countries that should instead be in agreement and solidly united for the supranational good, just as the United States of America. "Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste" warns the Wisdom of the Gospel (St. Matthew 12:25)

Corruzione ai lavori per l'Expo 2015 a Milano. Come un tumore maligno, riemerge il lato più squalificante di un Italia dove, come denunciava già nel 1995 una profezia di Marcello Ezechiele Ciai su Roma (Alla Città Gaudente) "dal più piccolo al più grande tutti ordiscono frode". "Il mio sdegno è grande, dove lo riverserò...?" Così continuava questa profezia, con parole ben più severe del tiepido commento fatto dal segretario di Stato Vaticano: "la corruzione fa parte del male che c'è nel mondo...". Sì, ma ora il male trabocca, "dilaga", come ha preannunciato Gesù per gli ultimi tempi. E' il caso di ripetere con l'appassionato sgomento di Dante: “Ahi serva Italia, di dolore ostello...non donna di province, ma bordello!” E la qualifica di "bordello" si attaglia anche a un Europa che ha incoronato vincitore (o vincitrice?) dell’Eurovision Song Contest di Copenhagen l’austriaca e barbuta Conchita Wurst, suscitando l'esultanza e il vanto del Premier austriaco. E così i nostri giovani saranno più che mai stimolati a ricercare e praticare esperienze sessuali sempre più deviate e aberranti rispetto al meraviglioso dono della sessualità uomo-donna con cui ci ha concepito il Creatore. Anche se tacciati di "omofobia" da un mondo che esalta quella che con un neologismo potremmo chiamare "omofilia", esponenti della Russia non esitano a dichiarare: «È la fine dell’Europa. Loro non hanno più uomini e donne, hanno “questo”».

Ultrà in azione nei gravissimi scontri allo stadio del 3 Aprile. Al posto dell’amore per la squadra del cuore o per la propria patria, domina l’odio per gli avversari, sportivi o politici che siano. La storia del Cristianesimo è invece contrassegnata da martiri che hanno sacrificato non le altrui ma le loro vite perdonando e amando i loro nemici, ma professando: “la nostra patria è nei cieli e di là aspettiamo come salvatore il Signore Gesù Cristo” (Filippesi 3:20)

The history of Christianity is instead marked by martyrs who sacrificed not the other people's but their lives forgiving and loving their enemies, but professing "our citizenship is in heaven, and it is from there that we are expecting a Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ" (Philippians 3 : 20)

In Europa e in tanti paesi del mondo il 1° Maggio si celebra la festa del lavoro, una festa di matrice socialista. Ma pure anche per il lavoro l’uomo dovrebbe ringraziare Dio che, come si legge nel Libro della Genesi (2:15) “pose l’uomo nel Giardino dell’Eden, perché lo lavorasse e lo custodisse”: si, Dio ci ha donato il lavoro, facendoci creativi custodi del creato.

Ma, come si esprime il Signore in una delle profezie di Marcello Ezechiele Ciai (Alla Città Gaudente, 1995) “I vostri iniqui pensieri hanno sconvolto tutte le cose belle - e il lavoro è una di queste – da me per voi create”. E così la costituzione del nostro paese, in cui Dio non viene nominato una sola volta, mette il lavoro a fondamento di tutto. Ma come si legge nel Vangelo, una casa che non è fondata sulle Parole di Gesù è destinata a crollare, e ancora in una profezia di Marcello (“Profetizza” 1995) fra l’altro sta scritto particolarmente:
" L’economia crollerà e gli operai resteranno sgomenti. "

In Europe and in many countries of the world on May 1st, the Labour Day is celebrated, a feast of socialist matrix.
